About
Gamble Speech Therapy is independently owned and operated by Mattie Gamble, M.S., CCC-SLP in Brentwood, Tennessee. Mattie has been providing speech-language services since 2016.
Mattie received her undergraduate degree from MTSU and graduate degree from the University of North Texas in 2019. After graduating, she began working for Williamson County School's Early Childhood preschool program. Mattie provided services through WCS for four years prior to opening her private practice. She has experience with both preschool and school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders including developmental articulation delays, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), receptive and expressive language delays, and fluency/stuttering.
Mattie is certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Tennessee's Board of Communication Disorders & Sciences and Departments of Education and Health. Mattie lives in the Brentwood area with her husband and Westie.
Services
Gamble Speech Therapy provides a variety of speech language services.
- Screenings - quick assessment to determine if further speech and/or language testing is warranted.
- Evaluations - comprehensive articulation, fluency/stuttering, and language evaluations assess a child's strengths and areas of improvement prior to therapy services. An evaluation is a formal report that documents your child's standardized assessment results and compares their scores to that of their peers. This report may be used when evaluating school-based therapy services. The cost for an evaluation includes test administration with the child, as well as a detailed report and consultation to review the results.
- Treatment/Therapy - in person and virtual/teletherapy options offered. Sessions are conducted individually on a weekly or twice weekly schedule, and may range from 30-60 minutes based on SLP recommendation. In-home sessions are offered for an additional fee.
- Trainings - individual or group trainings are offered to assist parents, teachers, and caregivers in identifying and supporting individuals who may be delayed in their speech and language development. Training sessions also discuss different strategies to implement in the classroom and at home for increased outcomes.
- Contract Services - short-term and long-term contracts available for school districts, preschool programs, and private institutions at competitive rates.
